Cinnamon and butter cookies recipe | EN/ES

Hello friends, this time I want to share a recipe that I had to prepare a few days ago with my son for a school activity in which he was asked to prepare a simple recipe with few ingredients, so we decided to make some butter and cinnamon cookies, I invite you to make them too because are very tasty and crunchy.


Ok, to make these cookies we will need ingredients that we normally have at home.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of butter
  • 160 grams of powdered sugar
  • 300 grams of wheat flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

We begin by mixing the butter with the sugar until the ingredients are well integrated and the mixture is homogeneous, then we add the teaspoon of vanilla, the cinnamon and the egg yolks.

It is important to note that the butter must be at room temperature.

Then, add the wheat flour to the mixture and continue mixing. When the dough is homogeneous and smooth, we can knead it with our hands on a floured surface.

When the dough is ready, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer for one hour.

After one hour we place the dough again on a floured surface and with a rolling pin we stretch it. Finally we cut the cookies with the mold of your choice, in our case we cut them in circles.

Note: All this must be done as quickly as possible so that the dough does not lose its consistency.

Now we must place the cookies on a floured tray, if you like you can sprinkle a little ground cinnamon mixed with sugar. Finally, we put them in the oven to bake, in my case I left them in the oven for approximately 18 minutes.

Important: the oven must be preheated to 180 ºC.

If you can wait for the cookies to cool, fine, but if not, enjoy them still warm like we did.

Hola amigos, en esta oportunidad les quiero compartir una receta que tuve preparar hace unos días con mi hijo para una actividad del colegio en la que le pidieron preparar una receta sencilla y con pocos ingredientes, por lo que decidimos hacer unas galletas de mantequilla y canela, les invito a que las hagan ustedes también porque quedan muy sabrosas y crujientes.


Ok, para hacer estas galletas necesitaremos ingredientes que normalmente tenemos en casa.

Ingredientes:

  • 200 gramos de mantequilla
  • 160 gramos de azúcar glass
  • 300 gramos de harina de trigo
  • 2 yemas de huevo
  • 1 cucharadita de vainilla
  • 1 cucharadita de canela en polvo

Comenzamos mezclando la mantequilla con el azúcar hasta que se integren bien los ingredientes y la mezcla esté homogénea, después le agregamos la cucharadita de vainilla, la canela y las yemas de huevos.

Es importante tener en cuenta que la mantequilla debe estar a temperatura ambiente.

Luego, añadimos la harina de trigo a la mezcla y continuamos mezclando. Cuando la masa esté homogénea y suave, podemos amasarla con las manos en una superficie enharinada.

Cuando la masa esté lista, la envolvemos en papel film y la llevamos al congelador por una hora.

Después una hora colocamos la masa nuevamente en superficie enharinada y con un rodillo la estiramos. Para finalizar debemos cortar las galletas con el molde de su elección, en nuestro caso las cortamos en círculos.

Nota: Todo esto hay que hacerlo lo más rápido que podamos para que la masa no pierda su consistencia.

Ahora debemos colocar las galletas en una bandeja enharinada, si gustas puedes rociarles un poco de canela molida mezclada con azúcar. Finalmente, las ponemos a hornear, en mi caso las dejé en el horno por 18 minutos aproximadamente.

Importante el horno debe estar precalentado a 180 ºC.

Si logran esperar a que se enfríen las galletas, bien, sino pues disfrutenlas aún calientes como nosotros.
