Today I want to tell you that a few days ago I had my first experience making hallacas from scratch, which I did with my wife.
I think all Venezuelans have some experience making hallacas because being a typical December food, it is normal that we have some kind of exposure, whether big or small, or at least know what a hallaca is.
What is not so normal is that someone knows how to do the whole process because it takes a lot of time and work, so we prefer to buy them and enjoy them this way.
My budget to make the 27 hallacas was approximately 25 HBD, 1 full day and a lot of mess in the kitchen, but in the end it was a lot of fun because I was with my wife making jokes and watching TV.
I also think that making hallacas is an activity that is interesting to do as a couple because we can get support and conflict in how it is done in some of the parts of the process.

Buenas tardes Hivers, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día.
Hoy les quiero contar que hace pocos días tuve mi primera experiencia haciendo hallacas desde 0, lo cual hice junto a mi esposa.
Creo que todos los venezolanos tenemos alguna experiencia haciendo hallacas porque al ser una comida típica de Diciembre, es normal que tengamos algún tipo de exposición, ya sea grande o baja, o que al menos sepamos que es una hallaca.
Lo que no es tan normal es que alguien sepa hacer el proceso completo porque lleva mucho tiempo y trabajo, por lo cual se prefiere comprarlas y disfrutarlas de esta manera.
Mi presupuesto para hacer las 27 hallacas fue de 25 HBD aproximadamente, 1 día completo y mucho desorden en la cocina, pero que al final fue muy divertido porque estuve con mi esposa haciendo chistes y viendo televisión.
También pienso que hacer hallacas es una actividad que es interesante de hacer en pareja porque podemos conseguir apoyo y conflictos en como se hace en alguna de las partes de su proceso.

But 25HBD, the food must be very expensive
Yes it is!!, the reason why it was that expensive was because I gave me 27 portions
