Today i would like to share healthy and Tasties recipe which take only few minutes to cooked. It's spiced and tasty vegetable khichdi made with mixed vegetables, lentils and rice, onions, tomatoes, herbs and spices, you can add more veggies at per your choice. It’s an easy one-pot recipe when you’re too tired to cook!
A khichdi is tasty and also healthy as it has lots of vegetables and a combination of pulses and rice, it had protein and nutrients,If you are bored with the daily junk food or fried food, then Khichdi is the perfect option for you.

Ingredients📃
• 1 cup rice, washed.
• 1 Small Bowl of moong Daal,washed.
• 1 Smsll Bowl of Araah Daal,wahed.
• 1 tbsp Oil.
• 1 bay leaf.
• 3-4 clove.
• 1 tsp cumin.
• pinch of asafoetida.
• 1 onion, finely chopped.
• 1 slit green chilli.
• 3-4 cloves of garlic.
• 1carrot, chopped.
• half capsicum, chopped.
• 1 tsp turmeric.
• ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
• 2 tbsp coriander leaves,finely chopped
• ½ tsp garam masala
• Salt to Taste.
Process 🧑🍳
Wash lentil and rice mentioned above thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 to 25 minutes,
With the help of chopper, finely Chopped the vegetables.
Take a Presure cook, Heat the oil, add the cumin seeds and hing into it,
If you pour so m water in the office, will it completely cover your rice and dal?
sauté the vegetables on low flame, cooked untill it get golden brown in colour. Now Add all spices into it.
Drain the Rice and lentil mixture, add into the Vegetables.
Pour the water as it completely cover your rice and dal?
cover and pressure cook for 5 whistles on medium flame.
Now Add the coriander leaves for garnish and more flavour.
For Tadaka 🥘
Adding this tadka is optional but whenever I make khichdi, I always make tadks so bring more flavour in it.
Take a Tadka pan, heat the Oil, add cumin seeds and hings, when it start crackling, now the flame add Red Chilli powder.
pour the tadka after serving khichdi, to make it more tempting and Delicious.
Your Khichdi is ready to serve, pair it with Green Chutney, curd and papad for more taste and tempting.
