Japanese food is recognized in most of the world, especially in social media. From Sushi to Ramen, every major city in the world offers a version of these dishes for everyone to try. There are restaurant chains that can capitalize on the popularity of this cuisine, one of them is Boteyju.
I rarely go for Japanese food for several reasons. Firstly, it’s quite expensive compared to other cuisines. I guess everything that is made by the Japanese is almost always on the “pricey” side. I may not fully agree with the price but there are times when I don’t know what to eat so I won’t mind spending more to experience a nice meal.
Whenever I eat at a Japanese restaurant, the first item that I will order is Edamame. It’s a type of bean or legume that’s boiled and salted. It doesn’t require any other seasoning or flavoring because it already tastes good even though it has minimal seasoning.
I’m not a fan of raw fish so most of the sushi in the menu doesn’t interest me. However, a California Roll or Maki is still a good item to order.
Of course, a rare occasion like this is a good chance to eat Tempura! A Japanese restaurant can do a great job in making a good tempura so it has to be on the list.
And then… another item that has to be on the table is Fried Gyoza.
Dessert time!!!
An ice cream over toasted bread and then drizzled with chocolate is my kind of dessert. Some people may find it weird but I like this combination so I went for it. It’s so satisfying 🤩.
I like the dessert! Especially when it's just served to the table. I'll need to eat it fast though, I don't love it much when the bread gets soaky.
You’re right about the dessert, i has to be eaten quick or it melts to the bread 😅 It’s a good thing that I didn’t had brain freeze while I was eating the ice cream.
hahah or the sensitive teeth. Mann that's also would have been annoying.
😅 True and that's the reason why I prefer ice cream with bread :)
Japanese food gives justice to their price esp. The way they plate their meal very artistic if i happen to be rich I'd eat japanese food everyday..😭
I love california maki the most ~ 💖
I agree with you about the presentation skills of chefs at Japanese restaurants. The consistency and craftsmanship is at a higher level compared to majority of cuisines.
That edamame looks delish to me! Same here, I am not fond of sushi, but tempura, maybe 😁
Edamame is fun to eat, especially while waiting for the main dishes 😅
Yay! 🤗
