Greetings my dear friends of Foodies Bee Hive, it is a pleasure for me to be with all of you again. Today I bring you a tasty Cuban Rice, I confess that it is the first time I have done it and I loved it. This time use brown rice but you can use white rice or whatever you have at home. It is very easy to make and the best thing is that few ingredients are needed; Next I show you the step by step for its preparation.
• 1 taza de arroz integral
• 3 tazas de agua
• 1 platano maduro
• 2 huevos
• 6 cucharadas de aceite
• 1/2 cucharadita de sal
Ingredients:
• 1 cup of brown rice
• 3 cups of water
• 1 ripe plantains
• 2 eggs
• 6 tablespoons of oil
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
Step by step:
We are going to start our recipe by placing a frying pan on the heat, add 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil, let it heat up to add the rice and salt. Remove and let fry until golden. Then add the water and cook over medium heat, as the water is drying, lower the heat and cook covered until the water has completely evaporated and is soft.
While the rice was cooking, we washed and peeled our plantains. Then we cut in half and then cut lengthwise, 6 to 8 slices can come out.
Now heat a frying pan with 3 tablespoons of oil, open the eggs and fry them. When cooked, remove from heat and arrange on a plate. (The cooking of the egg varies according to your taste).
Then add the rest of the oil and when it is hot add the plantains slices. Fry on both sides, remove when they are golden. We have absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
It is time to serve the rice, then we place the fried eggs on top and finally we place the plantains slices around it. And now we can enjoy our Cuban Rice.
The final result of my tasty Cuban Rice.

Thanks.
🤤🤤🤤 this looks great and I bet it'd taste just as great. Well, except for the eggs because it keeps ringing in my head that this method of preparing eggs doesn't allow for salt or any seasoning. Or does it? I see videos where people just break the eggs directly into the oily heated pan and add nothing else. Please tell me how you made yours cause I dunno how I can eat eggs without salt or something.
Oh by the way, your translator has translated plantains as bananas or is that what you call it over there? Sorry I assumed you use a translator. Do you use one?
Well done!
Greetings! I don't add salt to the egg, I can eat it like this. And we know plantains where I live with both names; I already changed it in case there is any confusion. Thank you very much for visiting my post.
Oh okay. My bad, pardon me. 🙌🏾
Yay! 🤗
