RE: Caramelized Fig, Feta, and Biltong Pasta: A Quick Lunch Recipe

I am so sorry for only responding now, what a couple of weeks. I am crunching under the pressure but things are a bit slower now.

The garden on this side loves the colder nights and days, but this is not as cold as there by you probably! Glad you could harvest something. Soon, I will be harvesting Swiss chard, garlic chives, and plenty of salad rocket! All the greens I prefer in the summer and not in the winter. I call this the gardener's predicament. Hahah. I hope all is well!

No worries… I fully understand.
Think it is a bit colder here hahaha
Nice, thats a good harvest.
They are better in the summer for sure. Enjoy them.

I had my 2 first courgettes… they were great. We have hubby’s family visiting so busy weeks entertaining.
Enjoy your weekend!

Nothing like harvesting and eating one's own food! There is something magical about it, and I hope you will grow many more nice foods! And good luck with the family, if they are still there; otherwise, I hope that the visit went well.

It is indeed magical. I enjoy eating our own food. Nothing taste better ☺️

They are still here until Thursday. We are enjoying the visit a lot. Living abroad makes family visits extra soecial. 😊
Today they are out with hubby. I have to stay at home. Got bitten by something (probably a mosquito, i am allergic too) on my ankle and it is swollen and red hot. So ice pack for me with my foot up a few days.

Have a wonderful new month!

Oh, that is unfortunate! I hope that it has healed by now? That does not sound good at all!

I can only imagine. My brother lives in the UK, so the visits vice versa is very limited and can get quite hectic with everyone wanting to visit friends and families. Precious moments thought.

I hope that the garden is coming along nicely! We are having some crazy rains on this side, so the garden is getting its fair share of water.

It has luckily healed by now. It wasn’t a good experience.

Yes… always hectic. To much to do in a very little time.
In 10 days we have to drive back to Ireland to sell the car. So on the way we stop in the UK and visit the rest of hubbies family.
We fly back and have some trains along the way. Will be fun.

The garden is doing as well as it can. Days are still cold and we had lots of rain too lately.
I discovered the first tiny cucumbers and some cherry tomatoes.
The beans are establishing too. Let’s see how it goes. Everything is very late here.
I am at 64 North… so it definitely will be a learning curve hahaha 🤣

Have a great week!

Oh wow, the garden sounds lovely really. I am jealous; I want to grow some beans and cherry tomatoes and cucumbers! I need to expand my garden a bit for all of them.

And the long "road trip" sounds nice though, but I know travelling can be burdensome! I hope that the visits along the way will be fun though, as that helps a lot!

Thanks ☺️
Let’s hope the garden stays well. I will be gone tomorrow for 2 weeks.
We can’t wait to start traveling. Just finished up packing.

Have a fantastic weekend 👋🏻☀️
