It is all about lighting my friend, or so I heard. Many people spend copious amounts of money on lighting equipment for food photography. I just for the perfect natural lighting in the kitchen.

Thank you so much! Just lucky to have the gear I use. Life sometimes gives you those proverbial lemons; you just need to use them. My uncle cleaned out his house and gave me a camera for my bookshelves (it was an old Nikon film camera long past its use-by date). It had a cool-looking lens on and I tried for the fun of it on my Nikon D300 camera and it was magic. So sometimes life just hands you certain gifts you did not look for neither did you expect it.
