Let me teach you how to make VEGETABLE SOUP
Vegetable soup is a common soup prepared using vegetables leaf and red oil as primary ingredients. It is called EFO RIRO in my local dialect.
INGREDIENTS
Vegetable (Shoko)
Seasoning
Red oil
Grounded Pepper
Salt
Fish
Onions
Locust bean.
Before you could start the cooking of the vegetable soup , there are things you must do..
You separate the vegetables from the soft branch , Cut the leafy vegetables and rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove sands particles .
COOKING DIRECTION
Pour some certain amount of oil in the pot that already heated .
Add the locust beans, onions, fish, the grounded pepper into it and stir very well.
Leave this to heat for some minutes and add the chopped vegetables
stir very well, cover and it heats up again , add salt to taste and take the pot off the stove after 10 to 15 minutes.. Your vegetable soup is ready..
Serve vegetable soup (Efo Riro) with Semolina, Amala, Pounded Yam, Eba or any other swallow meal. It also goes well with boiled white rice while some people prefer to it this alone.
