Dining at Purple Love Cafe: A Memorable Lunch with Friends

Hello there foodies! In this article I will share a wonderful experience and the foods I had with my friends when we dined at the restaurant called Purple Love Cafe.

Located in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines, Purple Love Cafe is more than just a dining spot; it’s an experience. I had the pleasure of dining there with a few close friends, and it turned out to be a delightful lunch filled with laughter, great food, and warm ambiance.

As we went inside, we were enchanted by the harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and cozy feels. For those who are looking for a perfect date spot, I can say that this is the perfect place! The restaurant's romantic setting is ideal for celebrating special occasions, or just for that one perfect date! (Blushes)

After being seated, a friendly server greeted and presented us with the menu. Though the food here is a little expensive, I can say that it's worth paying for. Each dish is crafted with high quality ingredients and caters to diverse palates. From mouth watering appetizers to the delectable main courses and deserts and their superb pasta dishes! It's really worth the wait too! Well, waiting is not that boring because of the romantic Bossa Nova songs playing in the background. Anyone who will visit the cafe will surely feel the relaxing vibe. We had so much fun talking about stuff while waiting for our food.

FOOD

They have a variety of food to choose from, but here are few of what we tried here:

Four Cheese Pizza

We kicked off our meal with the four cheese pizza, This is a must-try if you're a fan of cheese. As for me, I'm not taking a second slice.

Seafood Pasta Dish

My friend who's an advocate of pasta dishes ordered this one. Just look at how mouth-watering it looks! Garnished with parmesan cheese and olives, the pasta was al dente and what we loved about this is the fresh seafood added to it. The dish also has a complimentary pesto bread. This dish is a 10/10 for me.

Buffalo Chicken Wings and Chicken Cilantro Salad

As a someone who loves chicken, of course I'm the one who ordered this buffallo chicken wings! Yummy! The buffalo chicken wings were a must-try too, it is of course my personal favorite! They were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired perfectly with a mayo dip and a radish-carrot-bell pepper salad. It is definitely irresistible.

The cilantro salad is for the health-conscious, but I also liked it personally.

Shrimp Gambas

The shrimp gambas brought a taste of the ocean to our table. As a shrimp-lover myself, this was my second favorite among the foods that we had. This is 'shrimps cloaked in garlic-infused olive oil and White Wine with smoky hints of paprika garnished with parsley.'

Roast Beef

The beef was tender and savory. I tried a bite, and for those who likes beef, this is also 10/10.

They ordered other seafood dishes as well but I wasn't able to take a photo. Because they are already escited to try it!

Refreshing Shakes

To wash it all down, we opted for a chocolate shake and a mango graham shake.

Mixed-Berry Pancake

Finally, we couldn’t resist trying the restaurant’s specialty and the highlight of the cafe which you can't miss if you want to visit: the mixed-berry pancakes.
This is one of my favorites from this reataurant and one of the reasons why I went with the gang when they invited me to join the lunch date. I already tried this before, so I know "I'll always have a room for sweets in my stomach!" even if I was already full when this was served to us, but my friends just laughed at me when I said those words lol.

As someone with a sweet tooth, this was my favorite spot, lots of candies to choose from!

I'm the youngest among this group, and my friends were all older than me, so they always treat me like the baby of the group. With that being said, I'm also the self-proclaimed model of the group. My face is all over their galleries 😂.

As we left the cafe, we couldn’t stop talking about our memorable lunch. Dining at Purple Love Cafe was more than just a meal; it was spent with good company, sharing food and memories. I really look forward to returning and trying more of their delightful food, perhaps with even more friends next time.
