I was paying careful attention to the process until the cats entered the scene 🤣. Just kidding.
I can relate to the making of something laborious, almost painstaking, that will be eaten in a moment. It's worth it every time. I'm sure it was delicious: it had your cat's approval.
Usually, I like even more eat it chunk by chunk as I pull the small pieces of meat out of the shell. When the food is prepared and easy to eat I have the tendency to eat too fast and that leads to stomach problems often. When I have to get the food in small pieces, like when cleaning this crab, I eat slow and more properly.
Makes sense. I also eat too fast sometimes, almost without chewing –especially if I'm stressed–. Is better to carve the chicken leg than to eat a piece of breast. And it's tastier too.
