My favorite meat ( snail )

Special greetings to all the hive user's.
last night I went to peal some oranges outside my yard using my touch-light, while pointing the touch I noticed some snails crawling around the waterleaf garden. so I decided to stop pealing the oranges and go for the snails, I went for the snails because of its nutritional value and the fact that it's has its own season 🌜🌜 so I couldn't afford to Miss them even if I pick small.

Today I decided to use my snails and make a delicious soup. The first thing I did was to remove the snail from the shell, so I used a nail to do the removal process..

After removing the snail from the shell, I put them into a plate and get them ready for washing. for the washing I a salt, a raw garri, and water. This will actually help in cutting off the saliva from the snail.
I washed the snail first with a salt for thee times before using raw garri and water. I washed the snail repeatedly for like 5times before I was able to get rid of the saliva.

After washing out the saliva I divided the snail into two just to make sure they are free from sand and other dirty particles. then I put them into the pot for seasoning using onions, salt, pepper, and a red oil.
