Hello, friends especially foodies!

Recently i went to Puncak area - West Java with my family. There we spent our time together and had lunch in one of the best place to dine in there, the restaurant's name was Pandan Bistro.

Located in Kampoeng Brasco Factory Outlet, this restaurant placed at the 5th and 6th floor. No wonder it said that you could feel the mountain breeze experience there.

---

Inside the restaurant, they had artificial plants on some of their ceiling. They had wooden ceiling, combination of batik floor and wooden floor. For the chairs, they had European style soft dining chairs. They had many windows there and they opened them so you could feel the fresh mountain air.

And from the window you could see the mountain view.

Actually this restaurant also had the top dining area which only opened on weekends. The area had some sofas.

They also had LOVE sign and the red phone box as the photo spot,

plus the pandan bistro sign outside. We couldn't go there because it was a bit rainy and it would be slippery there.

Overall they had a great comfy dining area where you could dine in, chit chat and hang out with family, friends and even lovers.

Now for the menu, some of the menu that this restaurant had were some choices of Pandan Wangi Liwet Packages, some packages of Cau Leaf Liwet Packages, and Green Pandan Wangi Package.

The choices of rice which they had were white rice, timbel rice, tutug oncom rice, green pandan wangi rice, liwet rice, kemangi chicken roasted rice, jambal stinky bean roasted rice, kecombrang fried rice, lamb fried rice and stinky bean fried rice.

For the meat, they had Pandan fried chicken, Crunchy fried chicken, Bekakak roasted chicken, Spices fried chicken, Roasted chicken, Smashed fried chicken, Pandan wangi chicken, Smashed duck, Spices fried duck, Crispy fried duck, Roasted duck, Gepuk Empal, Fried Babat, Roasted Oxtail, Lamb tongseng, Lamb satay, Roasted rib, Chicken satay, and Marangi satay.

For the seafood, they had fried gourami, roasted gourami, mango rojak chili paste fried gourami, kecombrang sauce fried gourami, pesmol gourami, soy sauce roasted shrimp, kemangi salted egg shrimp, eggplant stinky beans chili paste squid, soysauce roasted squid, deep fried battered squid, and deep fried battered shrimp.

For the soup, they had lamb soto, bandung soto, oxtail soup, babat soto, red gourami soup, rib soup, and sour vegetable soup.

While for vegetable, they had karedok, shrimp paste/garlic stirred water spinach, shrimp paste/garlic stirred genjer, shrimp paste/garlic stirred pucuk labu, raos eggplant, salted fish bean sprouts, fried/roasted stinky beans, plus chili paste and lalapan (raw vegetables).

For the side dish, they had fan tofu, fried tofu, fried tempeh, beef jerky fried tempeh, corn fritter, mushroom pepes, tofu pepes, and fried jambal salted fish.

For the snack, they had Pandan Wangi Fried Banana, Thailand cassava, Garlic fried cassava, Sumedang crispy fried tofu, Ginger ronde, and Mango ketan (seasonal).

There they also had some kind of chili paste like dadak chili paste, onion chili paste, kemangi green chili paste, young mango chili paste and smashed chili paste.

For the beverage, they had kind of juice, tea, flavour iced tea, soft drink, mineral water, and alcohol drink.

The beverage came first, what we had were my favorite chamomile tea. It came with small teapot for each person.

Served hot, like usually, it had taste and aroma which authentically chamomile. It was aromatic, relaxing and comforting. It helped reduce stress and anxiety. Such a healing with the mountain breeze there.

Then the food that we ordered came one by one. But it didn't take a long time for the time in between. Here were our messy table that day and now let me tell you one by one about the food we had, included the taste and flavour.

First we had the side dish, fan tofu.

Didn't same with the name, it had square shape.

Inside the tofu, it had kind of vegetables such as carrot, bean sprouts, leaks, and also chicken. It had 4 pieces for a portion. It had tasty savory flavour with crunchy soft texture of the tofu skin.

Next, we had their pesmol gourami.

Not fishy at all, the gourami tasted so good. It riched with authentic spices with small portion of the sauce. The taste of it was savory and a bit spicy. This was one of the best pesmol gourami we've ever had.

Next, we had their oxtail soup.

It had savory flavour. Eventhough the oxtails were soft but somehow they were too beefy. The soup also contained sliced carrot and it also served with fried belinjo chips.

We also had their roasted rib.

The roasted ribs came with the soup too. The roasted ribs were soft, had tasty savory flavour. It served with tasty beef broth soup with same sliced carrot in it too.

Plus we still had their garlic stirred water spinach.

The stirred water spinach tasted so good in savory and a bit spicy flavour. No wonder, it also had tomato and sliced chili in it too.

Overall, the menu that this restaurant offered were all great and of course we would come again there.
