Bollitos picantes. Te enseño a prepararlos paso a paso. [ESP-ENG]

Feliz noche amigos. Otra de las preparaciones típicas de nuestra comida navideña son los bollos picantes, son bastante fáciles de hacer y a mí me encantan!

Good night friends. Another of the typical preparations of our Christmas meal are spicy buns, they are quite easy to make and I love them!

Para hacer estos bollitos picantes necesitamos:

• agua.
• harina de maíz.
• guiso de Hallacas.
• picante.
• aceitunas.
• uvas pasas.

To make these spicy buns we need:

• Water.
• cornmeal.
• Hallacas stew.
• spicy.
• olives.
• raisins.

En un recipiente vamos a colocar agua y picante, aquí tenía un poco de harina de maíz pero necesitaba más.

In a container we are going to put water and spice, here I had a little cornmeal but I needed more.

Here we have the Hallacas stew that we are going to place. In my previous post I explained how we prepare this stew.

Agregamos un poco de harina de maíz para lograr la textura necesaria.

We add a little cornmeal to achieve the necessary texture.

Ahora a está mezcla le agregamos aceitunas y uvas pasas. Entre más le agregues mejor!

Now to this mixture we add olives and raisins. The more you add the better!

Integramos todo muy bien y rectificamos sabor por si queremos agregar más picante.

We integrate everything very well and rectify the flavor in case we want to add more spice.

Ahora colocamos una hoja de plátano y agregamos una parte de la masa para hacer nuestro bollito picante.

Now we place a banana leaf and add a part of the dough to make our spicy bun.

Aquí ya tenemos varios bollitos listos. Los cocinamos en agua hirviendo.

Here we already have several buns ready. We cook them in boiling water.

Así luce nuestro bollito ya listo. Muchas veces los hacemos y los cortamos para repartirlo así como pasapalos.

This is what our ready-made bun looks like. Many times we make them and cut them to distribute it as well as snacks.
