First Time Tasted Makimi at Manila FoodShoppe

After the BCBP cascading activity, we felt hungry since the activity was done at almost 12:30 pm. The team decided to go to Parkmall since there were food stalls there that offer affordable and quality dishes. We did not order food from Hotel's restaurant since we were out of budget and besides most of us were health conscious. One member of the team or Kuya suggested having our lunch at Manila Foodshoppe. That was the first time I heard it. We were in Cebu but the food shoppe named Manila. Isn't that amazing? Well, the group follows Kuya. As we arrived there, we saw a lot of customers dining. So I conclude, that they have delicious, affordable, and nutritious dishes offered.Ok.lets see...

About the Restaurant

Manila Foodshoppe is one of the most visited food shoppe located in Parkmall, Mandawe. The place is spacious and can accommodate more or less 100 clients. It's also clean with a courteous and very accommodating crew. Therefore, you will feel comfortable and relaxed while dining. They offered several menus. They have short orders, rice and others, desserts, drinks, appetizers, noodle guisado, toppings, seafood, vegetable dish, pork, and chicken. Most of their items are good for 5 persons except for short orders and toppings. Whether you want to have a heavy meal or a light meal Manila Foodshoppe can provide you with what you want.

What is Makimi

One of our kuya suggested trying their best-seller noodle soup, the Makimi. That was my first time hearing that menu, so we all agreed to order Makimi. Each one has ordered one serving. Makimi is a noodle thick soup with pounded pork coated with cornstarch as a toppings. Its name is derived from Chinese. The soup alone is already a complete meal. We dine all together. The makimi tasted well but I and my husband is not contented with noodles alone, so we ordered rice with beef. We used to eat rice every meal so we don't want to skip eating rice. My Ates and Kuya were already contented with Makimi, so they all had a satisfying meal.
