Good day everyone, what I'm going to share to you now is perfect for this time be because its always pouring heavy rain in my place and hot broth is just perfect right now to warm our bodies. "In my country, this type of cooking is called as tinolang isda, and it is a popular way of preparing fish because it is quick and simple. The star of this dish is the fish, which is cooked in water with tomatoes, ginger, onions and malunggay leaves. And because I'm craving this kind of dish for Its always raining in our place, so today I decided to cook this tinolang fish/isda for our lunch.
Luckily I've got this star of the dish which is the fish (long nose emperor) even though the weather is bad right now. This dish only need a simple ingredient and you can buy it right away in you nearest market or in sari sari store.
You only need a fish not specifically this kind of fish any kind will do but if you can find this of fish or a grouper much better.
chopped tomato
Green chili or locally known siling haba.
Ginger
chopped onion
Malunggay leaves or moringa leaves
All you need to do is combine all the ingredient except the malunggay leave or moringa leaves with water in a pot then the water boil maybe for at least 5 minutes.
Then add the fish and simmer in a medium heat for at least 5 minutes or until the fish is cooked. Then add salt to taste.
Then add the malunggay leaves or moringa leaves off fire then serve the dish while its hot.
