Today I would like to invite you to accompany me to cook and serve pumpkin vegetable curry gravy. It is a special family menu and is very suitable for serving as a lunch menu.
This menu is often served at celebrations such as weddings, and we can easily get it at food stalls or restaurants.
The taste is like curry sauce in general. The savory taste of the sauce is produced from a mixture of thick coconut milk and spices that have been combined.
But before that, I would like to introduce water pumpkin and its benefits for the health of the body.water pumpkin is a vegetable and is very easy to find in Indonesia.Water pumpkin is also very easy to cook.
According to research, water pumpkin is low in calories but contains lots of nutrients such as protein, minerals, calcium, iron, various vitamins to amino acids. That's why water pumpkin is highly recommended to be used as a diet menu.
Some of the benefits of water pumpkin are as follows:
-Helps lower cholesterol
-Helps digestion and can prevent obesity
And there are many other benefits.
Curious right? let's prepare the ingredients
Material
-Water pumpkin (as needed)
- 500ml thick coconut milk
-Salt and broth powder to taste - One stalk of curry leaves
- Lemon grass 2 sticks
Ground spices:
- Cayenne pepper 10 grams
- red onion 50 grams
- Garlic 30 grams
-Ginger 10 grams
-coriander 5 grams
-turmeric 5 grams
-hazelnut 3 grains
-starfruit acid 3 pieces
The first step is to clean and cut the water pumpkin into small pieces or according to taste. Then prepare thick coconut milk.
The second step is to grind the spices by grinding or in a blender, but I recommend using a blender for maximum results.
Next, put the ground spices into the cauldron and then stir-fry for a while, then add the thick coconut milk and stir until it boils, the purpose is to stir it so that the coconut milk doesn't freeze.
After boiling for about 5 minutes, add the water pumpkin while continuing to stir. Wait for 10 minutes and then remove and ready to serve.
To add aroma and sensation to your cooking, just add curry leaves and lemon grass to the dishes that have been served.
