Nada mejor que unas galletitas para merendar. Una de mis favoritas son estas galletas caseras sabor a naranja y canela, muy ricas y fáciles de hacer.
Hace un tiempo compartí una receta similar a esta pero esta receta sufrió algunas modificaciones de mi parte ya que quedaban un poco tostadas y me gustan más suaves. Afortunadamente pude perfeccionar la receta y hacerla aún más deliciosa, así que comencemos:
Nothing better than some cookies for a snack. One of my favorites are these homemade orange and cinnamon flavored cookies, very tasty and easy to make.
Some time ago I shared a recipe similar to this one but this recipe underwent some modifications on my part since they were a little toasty and I like them softer. Luckily I was able to perfect the recipe and make it even more delicious, so let's get started:

1/2 taza de mantequilla | 1/2 cup of butter |
1/3 taza de azúcar | 1/3 cup of sugar |
1 1/2 taza de harina | 1 1/2 cup of flour |
1 huevo | 1 egg |
20 ml de jugo de naranja | 20ml of orange juice |
Ralladura de Naranja | Orange zest |
1 cuchradita de polvo para hornear | 1 tsp of baking powder |
1 cucharadita de canela en polvo | 1 tsp of cinnamon powder |
50 gr de azúcar glass (para el armado de la galleta) | 50 gr of icing sugar (for the biscuit assembly) |
1-. El primer paso es tomar una naranja, lavarla bien luego rallar la cáscara y reservar la ralladura. Seguidamente exprimir dicha naranja y reservar también el jugo. Como verás necesitaremos el jugo y la ralladura.
1-. The first step is to take an orange, wash it well, then grate the peel and reserve the zest. Then squeeze the orange and also reserve the juice. As you will see we will need the juice and the zest.
2-. En un bowl incorporar todos los ingredientes a la vez (excepto el aúcar glass) y mezclar con una espátula de cocina.
2-. In a bowl add all the ingredients at once (except the icing sugar) and mix with a kitchen spatula.
3-. Una vez está todo mezclado, debemos tomar porciones de la masa y hacer bolitas. Séguidamente pasamos cada bolita por un bowl con el azúcar glass y las cubrimos completamente.
3-. Once everything is mixed, we must take portions of the dough and make small balls. Then we pass each ball through a bowl with the icing sugar and cover them completely.
4-. Colocar las galletas en una bandeja previamente preparada con mantequilla y harina y hornear por 20 minutos a 180ºC.
4-. Place the cookies on a tray previously prepared with butter and flour and bake for 20 minutes at 180ºC.

Deliciosas, suaves y lo mejor es ese aroma y sabor tan particular que les da la naranja y la canela juntas. Me encantan! Antes me quedaban un poco más tostadas, pero con esta modificación en las cantidades de la receta, quedan geniales.
Delicious, soft and the best thing is that particular aroma and flavor that orange and cinnamon give them together. I love! Before I had a little more toast, but with this modification in the quantities of the recipe, they are great.
