Hey guys I'm here to show you the recipe of Red chilli Pickle. Well i guess everyone knows it recipe but some doesn't too. So I'm here to show you it's recipe. And it's purely veg (Vegan).
Its very common in india that people eat pickles with meals for the taste up of their food. You can just eat it up with chapatis and parathas. We Love spicy food but these pickles are sour and spicy in taste. Here are many pickles are made up of many vegetables like,
Mango,
Chillies it can be red or green both,
Lemon,
Carrot,
Radish,
Jackfruit,
Amla, Indian gooseberry,
Cucumber,
Ingredients (One jar)
- Red Chilli (it have to be fresh).
- Mustard oil.
- Mustard seeds.
- Fennel seeds.
- Fenugreek seeds.
- Dry mango powder.
- Turmeric powder.
- Asafoetida.
- Salt.
- A cleaned Jar.
Recipe for one jar (only)
First rinse the red chillies in water and let them dry naturally in plate. Its must that they should be completely dry.
then use the knife for chopped them of in between like you are seen in the below picture. Its depends on you want to remove its seeds or not.
then take the mustard seeds, fennel seeds, Fenugreek seeds in a grinder's jar and grind them properly.
but i used the already made grinded spices but its ingredients are same as that i did mention.
then in the Grinded powder add the one tablespoon of turmeric powder, 4 tablespoons of dry mango powder, ½ asafoetida, and salt based on your taste but i used one tablespoon.
mix well with the all spices and the powder.
then add three to four(3-4) tablespoon of mustard oil in the Grinded and well mixed powder. And mixed it well so that we can stuff this powder well in Red chillies.
take the chopped portion of red chilli and stuff that mixture in it very well. And do this same with every portion of chopped Red Chilli.
Now you have to do just place all the stuffed Red chillies into the jar.
And then pour the one cup of mustard oil in the jar(stuffed with chillies).
Close the jar with its lid and Shake the jar slowly. And place the jar into the Sun light, keep doing this for about 5 To 7days.
To check if it's done or not just take a bite from it. If its still crunchiness in ther then it needs to keep some more days in Sun light.
Once it done Enjoy the Red chilli pickle with your meals.
