My grandmother taught me this, the ingredients are:
1 kg of flour 0
10 gr of yeast for bread
1 cup of milk
1 cup of oil
25 gr salt
450/500 g of water
Knead everything and let it rest at least until the dough has doubled, it will take more or less 3 hours
Re-mix everything and make balls of 70/80 gr
Roll them out with a rolling pin about the size of a dessert plate
Fillings
- cooked mozzarella, pitted green olives
- mozzarella and cherry tomatoes
- Calabrian esplanade with mozzarella
- minced meat sautéed with cherry tomatoes
- Zola and cooked
- put what you like 😜
Fry and then salt them on top
Enjoy your meal
They are good if served freshly fried, in case you can freeze them still to be cooked
they look delicious. I eat first with my eyes than with my mouth
