Baking frozen croissants for my colleagues at the animal shelter. 2 attempts

Hello my dear friends of Hive and especially of Foodies Bee Hive, today I bring you a very interesting post, because although this seems simple, it is not.

The animal shelter is built in a mountain shelter, so the infrastructure is quite basic. However, we manage very well to feed ourselves and the animals.

The owners of the shelter provide us with some basic food, such as noodles, rice, frozen croissants, milk, cookies and some other things that they vary and bring us.

The oven we have only turns on from underneath, so we have to remove the croissants and turn them over. That, as you can imagine, "apelmasa ", that is to say, it leaves them as a compact piece of dough.

Therefore, I made two attempts:

1 - I let the croissants thaw overnight and then cooked them for 11 minutes turn and turn at minimum heat, but of course that didn't work, so I added 5 minutes on each side at medium heat.

It didn't turn out too well, but better than the guys who cook them 14 minutes on one side and then 14 minutes on the other over medium heat.

2 - I let the croissants defrost overnight in the refrigerator, then I left them half an hour at room temperature and finally I cooked them half an hour on one side and then half an hour on the other.

They turned out much better than the previous time, so for now, this is the way.

It is possible that they could be longer at room temperature and then 40 minutes on the first side so they don't get so caked when you take them out to turn them over.

Do you have any advice?

Well, although it's not the most elaborate food in the world, it's what's out there now and I thought it was fun to share it with you, since it's a meal and a whole experience, hehe.

It familiar with he world croissants but it sure look like crayfish

Hey! Did you read my blog or just looked at the pictures?

I was interested in the picture brother but now I will go through it

That must be delicious , but the structure of a croissant of yours is not similar to chubby and oeiginal croissant..🤗Greetings

Absolutely, they were frozen croissants and the oven wasn’t working very well. The important thing is that they were tasty 😋

Yes for Sure, taste is the most important thing than the look of the food😊

Omg!! I want to try some croissant of yours!! Just looking at the pictures seems so delicious.

Thank you!! They were very tasty hehe ☺️

Thank you very much for letting me know!

You're making a big impact @belug! Keep up the fantastic work and you'll reach your Hive target in no time.

That's quite an adventure in the kitchen, girl! haha. But yeah, what sometimes seems to be quick and easy to prepare, doesn't necessarily turn out like that xD

Lol, absolutely!! That’s wha happened!

This really looks fantastic and delicious. Could be a snack for the Christmas season. The pictures alone are inviting 😋

Thank you very much!! Although it wasn’t perfect, it was very tasty!

You're welcome. That's good.
