I had the opportunity to visit a famous cake outlet in Medan City, called "BOLU MENARA".
I was quite amazed to see that the outlet looks big and different from other outlets.
Although they focus on steamed sponge cake, they also provide other souvenirs, such as local chili sauce mixed with anchovies using local spices. They also provide yogurt products.
So, you could say they offer a lot of things that tantalize the taste buds of travelers who happen to pass through the city of Medan.
At that time I bought Blackforest With Taro Filling. Also several other versions at once, such as Pandan Cake and Durian Cake. When I brought it home, my family members especially my nephew loved the cakes I bought.
Next time, I will come to this outlet again if I'm in the mood for steamed cake or if I'm looking for a gift for my friend.
