Preparation

Before starting with the preparation of the tabbouleh, we must soak the cracked wheat for at least 12 hours before using it. To do this, we will place it in a container large enough to have room to double its volume, and we will cover it with enough water.

To begin, wash and remove the thickest part of the parsley stems and finely chop it. Similarly, wash and cut the tomatoes into small cubes and mix both.

Drain, rinse and drain again the broken wheat and add it to the parsley and tomato mixture.

Finally, season with salt, freshly squeezed lemon juice and olive oil, in amounts that are to our taste. Mix well, and we will have our tabbouleh ready, a delicious salad that will add a fresh touch to our dish.
