Semolina Halva

Hello friends how are you I hope you are well.

Almost everyone loves to consume sweet products, sometimes there are even those who have a sweet crisis. When we consume sweets frequently, it can cause health problems. Therefore, it is useful to consume sparingly.

Semolina is a product that I love to eat, it is a product used in various desserts and soups. Its main ingredient was hard wheat. This product, which is obtained by grinding wheat, is often used when making halva, cake, dessert with syrup or soup.

Today I will tell you how to make semolina halva, which is very simple to make and I love to make. The recipe for our semolina halva is very simple and as a result, it is a very delicious dessert.

Ingredients for Semolina Halva

  • 1 cup semolina (200 ml)
  • 1 cup milk (200 ml)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200 ml)
  • 25 g butter
  • 1/2 cup Pine nuts, walnuts or almonds (optional)

Making Semolina Halva

I hope you enjoy this very easy recipe. Now that we have prepared all our ingredients, we can now move on to how to make our semolina halva.

  • First of all, we take our saucepan on the stove over low heat, add the butter and melt the butter. I didn't use dried nuts while making the halva. Friends who want to use it can add pine nuts and roast them at this stage after the butter has melted.

  • After the butter has completely melted, we pour 1 glass of semolina into the pot and mix it on low heat until it browns.

  • We make sure that there is a low fire, and we mix it constantly, friends, otherwise our semolina will burn and our halva will not be pleasant at all. You can see the color changes of our semolina in the photos below.

By the way, I wonder if you eat it warm or cold, is there any difference in taste?

You can consume it warm or cold according to your taste. But my preference is of course warm :)
