Thai food is very popular in my area. I found several Thai restaurants within a few miles of my house. The Tom Yum Soup seems to be on every menu (and not very expensive, either), but the recipe doesn't seem to be consistent. One offers shrimp, another offers duck, and another seems to be entirely vegetarian. I am tempted because the soup looks so good in your pictures, and your description is definitely tempting. However, I have a very touchy stomach and worry that the spices might be an issue.

Still....I am tempted :)))
