Mi primera vez utilizando uñas postizas 💅🏽💗 [ESP-ENG]

Nunca he sido una persona que suela arreglarse las uñas constantemente en salones de belleza, primero porque siempre he estudiado en colegios donde son estrictos con el color y largo de las uñas, y siempre he respetado hasta cierto punto esa norma, además que no siempre cuento con presupuesto suficiente para cubrir mantenimiento todos los meses, no lo consideraba prioridad. Pero sin embargo en esta ocasión quise darme el gusto, y mi experiencia es lo que les estaré compartiendo en este post.

I have never been a person who used to get my nails done constantly in beauty salons, first because I have always studied in schools where they are strict with the color and length of the nails, and I have always respected to some extent that rule, plus I do not always have enough budget to cover maintenance every month, I did not consider it a priority. But this time I wanted to treat myself, and my experience is what I will be sharing with you in this post.

Aún con que no soy de visitar centros de belleza tan frecuente para esto, de igual forma busco de arreglarme yo misma las uñas y colocandome brillo, o algún esmalte si tengo alguna ocasión especial para tenerlas lo más presentables siempre. Pero a pesar de, tuve una temporada en la que si me gustaba y podía mantener mis uñas arregladitas con buen manicure y diseño; pero como les digo, es por temporadas jajaja. Pero en el pasado mes de diciembre si me quise consentir de esta forma, consideré que lo merecía tras pasar un año de altas y bajas y mucho tiempo ocupado en mis estudios y trabajo. Pensaba que lo menos que podía hacer por mi es dedicarme algo de tiempo y hacer cosas que subieron los ánimos y me hicieran sentir bien, así que opté por darle la oportunidad a un Sistema, Almendrado específicamente, en mis uñitas, jeje.

Cabe destacar que ese era mi propósito, pero económicamente en diciembre no me fue taan bien y pensaba en hacerme solo Manicure y Pedicure semipermanente para que me quedara algo de dinero, pero justo en el momento que me las comenzaron a arreglar (fue una amiga muy cercana a mi abuela) me hicieron la sugerencia nuevamente de colocarme un Sistema para que mis uñas se viesen más estilizadas, ya que las mías naturales realmente son un poquito difíciles porque no en todas tengo la misma forma, me crecen muy extrañas e incluso débiles, y no se me iba a ver tan bien el diseño que yo quería en ellas. Y aunque en el fondo me pegaba un poquito, preferí aceptar, ya que primero no es algo de todos los días y realmente lo quería en un principio, así que me quise complacer, y la verdad, no me arrepiento ni me arrepentí en su momento jaja...

Así que luego de haberme adelantado parte del Manicure, pasamos a preparar mis uñas para colocarme un Sistema Acrílico. La imagen de referencia que llevé para el diseño ya tenía de una vez la forma Almendrada como quería así que en base a eso comenzaron a darle forma a cada uña, mientras yo simplemente disfrutaba y estaba atenta a la experiencia ya que era mi primera vez jajaja, e inclusive me pareció muy interesante todo el proceso y ver como todo iba agarrando forma y se iba viendo mejor. No me se los nombre exactos de las cositas que me colocaron, y les debo foto de como estaban mis uñas antes de, pero créanme que cuando ya todas tenían el mismo largo y mismo relieve me emocioné mucho y sentí bastante contenta.

En cuanto al Esmaltado y Decoración, días antes estuve un poco indecisa con varios modelos que veía en Pinterest jajaj, pero si les digo que siempre para las uñas me han gustado los modelos sencillos, minimalistas, sin mucha textura o accesorios, así que llevé de referencia uno que me pareció bastante elegante, con un color diferente que además iba a combinar con el vestido que me coloqué para recibir el año. Y cabe resaltar que al principio no me convencía mucho las tonalidades de colores que tenía la persona que me estaba arreglando las uñitas, pero dentro de todo fue bastante cercano a la imagen y al final resaltaba con mi color de piel... que hasta me las piropearon más de lo que imaginé jajaj.

Even though I don't visit beauty salons that often for this, I still try to do my nails myself and put some polish or shine on them if I have a special occasion to have them always presentable. But in spite of that, I had a season in which I liked and I could keep my nails manicured with good manicure and design; but as I say, it's seasonal hahaha. But last December I did want to pamper myself in this way, I thought I deserved it after a year of ups and downs and a lot of time busy with my studies and work. I thought that the least I could do for me was to dedicate some time to myself and do things that would lift my spirits and make me feel good, so I decided to give a System, specifically Almond, a try on my nails, hehe.

It should be noted that this was my purpose, but economically in December I was not doing so well and I thought of doing only semi-permanent Manicure and Pedicure so that I had some money left, but just at the time I started to fix them (it was a very close friend of my grandmother) they made me the suggestion again to put a system to my nails to make my nails look more stylized, since my natural nails are really a little bit difficult because not all of them have the same shape, they grow very strange and even weak, and the design I wanted on them was not going to look so good. And although deep down I was a little bit against it, I preferred to accept, because first it is not something every day and I really wanted it in the beginning, so I wanted to please, and the truth, I do not regret nor did I regret it at the time haha ....

So after I had already done part of the Manicure, we went on to prepare my nails to put on an Acrylic System. The reference image I took for the design already had the Almond shape as I wanted so based on that they began to shape each nail, while I just enjoyed and was attentive to the experience since it was my first time hahaha, and even I found the whole process very interesting and see how everything was taking shape and was looking better. I don't know the exact names of the little things they put on me, and I owe you a picture of how my nails were before, but believe me when they all had the same length and the same relief I was very excited and felt quite happy.

As for the nail polish and decoration, days before I was a little undecided with several models I saw on Pinterest hahaha, but if I tell you that I have always liked simple, minimalist models for nails, without much texture or accessories, so I took as reference one that seemed quite elegant, with a different color that would also combine with the dress I wore to receive the year. And it is worth mentioning that at the beginning I was not very convinced by the color tones of the person who was doing my nails, but in the end it was pretty close to the image and in the end it stood out with my skin color? they even complimented them more than I imagined hahahaha.

Finalmente puedo decir que quedé satisfecha, estaba muy cuidadosa luego con mis uñas y las veía a cada rato jajaja. En cuanto a saberme manejar con ellas, por no ser tan largas no me fue tan difícil acostumbrarme, al principio con algunas cosas me incomodaba, como vestirme, escribir; pero ya luego con la práctica hasta me iba emocionando más como me iba adaptando con ellas, jeje. Aparte que para nada lastimaban, cosa de la ue temía un poco, la verdad el largo y la forma me fue bastante cómodo y me lucía muy bien ya que mis dedos son delgados, se veía muy armónico esa forma Almendrada conmigo... si mis uñas naturales me dieran para tener esa forma, las utilizaría así siempre, me gusta mucho más como se me ven que la típica forma Cuadrada. Así que en parte me gustó mucho darme cuenta que no es tanto la moda, sino lo mejor que vaya contigo, para que tus manos se vean mas estilizadas y elegantes.

Las uñas me las realicé el 23 de diciembre y las retiré el día martes 17 de enero. Estuve casi un mes con ellas y duraron casi intactas, solo en unas el esmalte se cayó un poquito por las esquinas y por supuesto mi uña natural creció. Pero para todo lo que hice durante ese tiempo, que pensaba que me las podían dañar me duraron muchísimo jajaja. Y en sí decidí retirarlas por la Universidad más que nada, estudio Fisioterapia y esta carrera exige tener las uñas lo más cortas posibles porque nuestro principal instrumento de trabajo son nuestras manos, así que yo por supuesto respeto esto, además que ya si esta semana me estaba empezando a incomodar y yo misma lastimar un poco por tenerlas más largas...

Del proceso de retiro si olvidé tomar fotos, pero fue bastante sencillo y rápido, un poco molesto pero la forma en que me retiraron el Sistema no me lstimó tanto mi uña natural. Simplemente mantuve mis manos en agua caliente con un aceite, y luego me las fueron levantando por las esquinas con una espatulita pequeña hasta que casi mágicamente se lograba levantar toda jajaj... me colocaron una base para fortalecer mis uñas y un Brillo Color bastante bonito semipermanente para tenerlas duritas y bonitas. También me gustó este resultado, así que estoy totalmente satisfecha con la experiencia, y en algún momento, en el que esté de vacaciones posiblemente, volvería a colocarme mis uñitas.

Es curioso como a veces cuando se trata de nosotras mismas ponemos en duda o pestargamos muchas cosas. Por ejemplo yo crecí con la idea de que esto simple vanidad y gasto innecesario, y aunque si no es una prioridad exactamente (o aunque para algunas si) no tiene nada de malo invertir por verse linda y arreglada en determinado momento, o constantemente. Las uñas arregladas se ven muy bien, demuestran autocuidado y elegancia, así que lo considero un acto de cariño dentro de todo, que repito, de mi parte no es tan frecuente, pero si en ocasiones especiales o si simplemente me provoca, sería capaz de consentirme de esta forma de nuevo, jeje.

Finally I can say that I was satisfied, I was very careful with my nails and I saw them all the time hahaha. As for knowing how to handle them, because they are not so long it was not so difficult to get used to them, at first with some things I was uncomfortable, like getting dressed, writing; but then with practice I was getting more excited as I was adapting to them, hehe. Besides that they didn't hurt at all, which I was a little afraid of, the truth is that the length and the shape was quite comfortable and it looked very good since my fingers are thin, it looked very harmonious that Almond shape with me... if my natural nails would give me to have that shape, I would use them like that always, I like much more how they look like than the typical Square shape. So in part I really liked realizing that it's not so much fashion, but what's best for you, to make your hands look more stylish and elegant.

I had my nails done on December 23 and took them off on Tuesday, January 17. I was almost a month with them and they lasted almost intact, only in some of them the polish fell a little bit in the corners and of course my natural nail grew. But for everything I did during that time, that I thought they could damage them, they lasted a lot hahaha. And I decided to remove them for the University more than anything, I study Physiotherapy and this career requires having my nails as short as possible because our main work instrument are our hands, so of course I respect this, besides that this week I was starting to feel uncomfortable and I myself was hurting a little bit for having them longer....

I forgot to take pictures of the removal process, but it was quite simple and fast, a little annoying but the way they removed the system didn't hurt my natural nails that much. I simply kept my hands in hot water with an oil, and then they were lifting them by the corners with a small spatulite until almost magically they were able to lift everything hahahaha... they applied a base to strengthen my nails and a pretty nice semi-permanent color gloss to have them hard and beautiful. I also liked this result, so I am totally satisfied with the experience, and at some point, when I am on vacation possibly, I would do my nails again.

It's funny how sometimes when it comes to ourselves we question or question a lot of things. For example, I grew up with the idea that this is simple vanity and unnecessary expense, and even if it is not exactly a priority (or even if for some it is) there is nothing wrong with investing in looking pretty and well groomed at a certain time, or constantly. Manicured nails look great, they show self-care and elegance, so I consider it an act of affection within everything, which I repeat, on my part is not so frequent, but if on special occasions or if it simply provokes me, I would be able to pamper myself in this way again, hehe.
