Cocoa is a powder made from roasted and ground cacao seeds. Here I am introducing a very delicious and nutritious post workout smoothie.Thank you @naturalmedicine and @justinparke for this wonderful opportunity.
This can be prepared very fast and helps us regain our energy after an intense workout.
Ingredients used are super simple and easily available.
Add some frozen bananas, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 cup of oats, half cup of almond milk and some honey to the blender.
Blend the above ingredients thoroughly for one minute.
Add some ice and drink .
This drink is rich in protein and fiber. It is completely vegan and dairy free.
This is one of my favorite smoothies to make, especially with a spoonful or two of peanut butter. Thanks for participating the Plant Power Cooking Challenge.
A little friendly tip - even though this is a super simple recipe, it's good to list the ingredients and amounts in a list form for easy reference. We're facing a cocoa powder shortage in Suriname, so I'll have to virtually enjoy your smoothie until I can make one of my own soon.
