I read more and more about foraging and it's pretty interesting to me to see how much around us is edible. Stuff we see as weeds and just throw away (well, they feed my compost heap). Definitely something I want to learn more about! Thanks for this post!

Btw, asparagus are definitely on my want list! Hubby doesn't like them, so I haven't made it a priority yet, but they don't die off, do they? Just grow back a year later? Which makes them very interesting to me.

Asparagus will indeed come back every year once it's established. For most new plantings, it's recommended that you don't cut any for the first year (sometimes longer, in poor conditions).
