Trying to lose weight can be very difficult and impossible, especially when doing it naturally. Because there are too many battles to fight. You have to fight the laziness and get up to workout and have to fight how boring and monotonous working out can become.

And then the hardest part is fighting the urges to eat your favourite things. This is what messes most people up. It's usually too much of a lifestyle change to get on a diet and say goodbye to some of the foods you live your life for and having them only once in a while on cheat days.

And it is because dieting is the most difficult but most important part that this hack has to do with the food you eat. And this hack is psychological. It is actually for those who want to lose weight naturally.

The hack is this, having muscles makes gaining fat or keeping fat more difficult, because muscles burn a lot of fat. So you simply want to have muscles and then fat would become less of a problem for you.

So while going through the pain of dieting, the major thing that makes it worse is knowing and feeling like for the rest of your life you wouldn't be able to eat some of your favorite things as much as you'd like or as much as would feel enough.

That knowledge that you have to say a permanent bye bye to binging on snacks, ice cream, etc. that is very painful. A lot of times it looks like a life of being fat and out of shape is better than a life of living without these foods/snacks.

And that's where the hack comes in. The hack is telling yourself that it wouldn't be forever, that once you get bigger muscles you would have more freedom to eat more carelessly because remember your muscles would help you keep fat away.

So you have to tell yourself you're having cheat meals only on cheat days until you have built good enough muscles. Once you've built it you can have more cheat days.

This way it becomes easier to diet as you know it wouldn't be forever, you know it's just for a while.
