I do think many vegans probably don't realize. Animal products invade our lives, and I bet many vegans aren't aware of the many animal products they use or come into contact with on a daily basis. Definitely a deciding factor is the consumption of dairy and eggs, which certainly aren't vegan.

Vegans not eating processed foods will need to be much more aware of their vitamin and mineral intake, as they have to make more efforts to eat a wide variety of things to get their daily intake of certain things.
