Lies

Everything is based on looks, power, and money. When the opinion of others is not important if there are no shining things covered on it. The lie can be the truth as long as you have the money and influence to roll it over. No matter how hard you try in voicing out what really happened it's no use. Someone who has the power already twisted it and people are afraid to go against it. Just like a package when it's already packed you can't open it anymore.

The innocent are being placed in custody. The criminal is laughing outside knowing that he can't be detained. People were disappointed and started asking if it's still safe to live. What else could they do if they couldn't afford to pay for the decision of that certain position?

People are laughing at someone. The appearance is disgusting. As if, not being as pretty as them is now a crime. That's why some are afraid to go out to avoid those hurtful words. Imagine, the tears of others became the happy pill to some. Do they think the life of someone is a joke?

Silence means yes. If you choose to stay silent to escape from the bash of others some people think you're wrong. If you voice out the reality they won't listen because fame is important rather than the truth. Even power can determine what is correct.

When the truth will be revealed like a clap of a thunderstorm. People ignored it because their roof was soundproof from the entertainment of today's world. How can it be possible that people are having fun watching someone pranking even though it hurts? Why it's not important to watch or read the knowledgeable content compared to stupid ones?

I was born in the '90s and enjoyed the world through this generation. No internet, no gadgets, and barely brightened the street during the night because electricity those days was hard to have. I don't regret living in that kind of generation because those days being human existed.

Our family used to spend time together. Having a conversation, joking, nonsense talking but sometimes confessing one another. Social media couldn't disturb what family was. Since gadgets wouldn't rob our time from our parents we were always helpful to them. Just like the time when me and my siblings went to a faraway place to fetch water. It was hard, it was very tiring but believe me, it was fun. Fetching water with them offered us more time to have fun on our journey.

Socializing those days as well was so much sweeter than loving someone. In our small village, we treated everyone as friends. I haven't heard about bullying because the mocking will be rotated. It should be done to avoid someone feeling being groped at. There were quarreling of course but it didn't reach the point of hating one another.

It's so sad that these days the feelings of others are considered a joke. They thought that just by giving money it will be forgotten. They thought that just by relying on someone powerful the mistake they made could be ignored. It's hard to mock someone powerful because you might be sued. I thought the world can be better and better since all of us are educated now. That's just an idle thought as time flies by because people are getting greedy.

Who wouldn't power, I know it's amazing to have it. Just by thinking to be like superman can be amazing. It's not wrong to ask power but don't ask too much that you come to the point you're hurting someone. Don't forget that power will be nothing when someone doesn't recognize you. It will never be fun when you can't have someone to share it with. Don't you think the life of a bear is boring? It can live on its own but no one will be there to enjoy it with. What's the fun of being feared if the people surround you are not being honest about themselves.

There's no helping it but today's world is full of lies.
