Disclaimer: This is not a Valentine's day post but I love you anyway ;<)
It took me a while, but about three weeks after setting up an account specifically used for LeoFinance curation ( more on that here, I finally realized I could do the same for Natural Medicine / Lotus.
I was getting a little frustrated, by seeing how quickly my voting power gets drained, just by upvoting a couple of people on Peakd per day. It also gets drained pretty easily by the naturalmedicine curation trail that I'm following ( with a 15% vote per post ).
It then hit me like the hammer of Thor...
I could make a separate account for Natural Medicine curation and delegate my Lotus Power to that account.
Nat Med is probably still my favorite community, even though I have been pretty unactive on here, in the last couple of months.
I was focusing more on finance ( Leofinance ) and art ( NFT Showroom / Alien Art Hive ) ), as I aim to make money selling NFT art and from crypto investing.
It was gnawing at me though that I was hardly upvoting or commenting my Lotus buddies write ups on here. I haven't forgotten you...
Just being kind on Discord isn't enough for me. It didn't cut it.
Lotus on the rise
I couldn't help but notice that the value of the Lotus token has been on the rise lately.
It seems like @riverflows ' and possibly @whatamidoing 's effort, as well as that of all of the amazing Lotus Curators, dev(s) and those of you who keep being active in this Natural Medicine community, is finally starting to pay dividends. Let's be honest, Lotus was probably one of the most undervalued tokens on Hive and it's about time to turn that around.
I recently got myself some more Lotus and I discovered, yesterday, that my current 100% upvote is worth a nice amount of Lotus.
This hypersensitive raptor is still trying to find some kind of calculation ( amount of Lotus per 1k of staked Lotus? ) - @riverflows can you help me with that? ), as it seems to differ majorly all the time.
Yesterday, my full upvote seemed to be worth 20 Lotus! Today a lot less, around 10 Lotus. Even though the coin only went down 15% in value in the last 24 hours.
Nevertheless, 10 Lotus still sounds pretty sweet.
In short, the aforementiones was reason enough to make an alt account, the one I'm posting from right now ( @littlehyper-nm ). I delegated 15k Lotus to it and will start upvoting and commenting with it very soon.

Thanks for spreading the lotus love around! I've got to get back into post more natural medicine content. I've been reinventing myself as the "Gardening Grandma" after my retirement and have been busy getting together websites and courses for gardening with kids but I will be launching it soon and posting on Natural Medicine.
Yeah, my heart is pretty big, I guess. Still waiting for that person who wants some of my daily love, but up till that day I will spread the abundance of love that I have around in places like these ;<)

i tried to upvote this comment (unable to vote post as already paid out) using naturalmedicine.io but, @riverflows, there was no button to click to vote, just the sliding vote % pop up, so i switched to ecency. Perhaps you'll get some ecency points if Natural Medicine have signed up for that option.
I really like the PeakD interface though. Lot's of useful features absent in other front ends.
#ideaseed I wonder if @peakd could offer branded PeakD front ends for use by Hive communities, for naturalmedicine.io for example
#ideaseed It would be great if there was a Front End Switcher extension, so for instance i am currently viewing using @ecency, but i may prefer to switch to PeakD or @dbuzz or Naturalmedicine.io for different reasons. Usually i would delete ecency.com with say naturalmedicine.io at the front of the address in the browser address bar. Clunky and a little time consuming. Anyone know how to code an extension? Please tag someone you think may be interested. @stoodkev perhaps (thanks for your recent votes by the way, much appreciated :-)
I've also been absent from natural medicine community for quite a while as my attention has been mainly focused on helping to develop and recruit pre-alpha testers for a Community Governance Solution. I'll do my best to drop in at least once a week.
