Love the imperfect things ❤️

Writing on a rainy day.

For a long time, my happiness was as simple as a passing rain, washing away the dirt and dust of the trees, gently washing away the fatigue and worries in me. My current happiness is as simple as that.

My measure of happiness now is different from before. I no longer use big things as the goal of happiness. The old me, no matter how much I hated that work, still buried my head in work from early morning until late night, just expected to receive recognition from my boss. How to get promoted and get a raise. Hide your feelings, then just tried very hard.

My happiness in the past had a " material "smell, Strive to get this, get that. I putted too much ambition on my life. I hope to receive from others more than what I give for them. The happiness that I thought at that time must be something really big. The house, the car, the position, even the things expensive I want to have. But, I wonder if I have those things, I will always stay in a happy life Or just happy for a while???

When I decided to quit my job and started my own business,that working with my hobby. I had more time to reflect and looked back on my life. I spend more time listening to my own feelings. I no longer get startled every time the phone rings on a day off, even before going to bed. When I received the phone, I had to take a few deep breaths, before picking up it. Because I scared that called from my boss. He was always calling me when he want to complaint some things about staffs or operation. The old me used to live like that.

Now, Happiness to me is just the simple things, even it's imperfect. A morning cup of coffee next to a book and a cake in the morning is enough to make me smile.

Happiness is the few jokes of the security old men in the coffee shops enough to make me realize that, despite being old and working outside in the hot sun, everyone is still trying their best. They tried to use their humor and smile to forget the heat and hard working.

The simple happiness that wakes me up every morning is the sunlight flooding into the room, although it is a bit bright and a little hot, but when I open my eyes, I feel happy, because a new day has come again, looking up at the sky is still blue and I have more A new day to enjoy life.

Or Running and jogging in the park every afternoon makes me really happy. Because I see children playing without thinking, regardless of what will happen in the future, their job is to just have fun in the present moment. The elderly are still actively walking and exercising, because for them at this moment the most valuable thing is Health, which not many young people realize when they are young and healthy.

Just like that, I can smile happily. No need for luxuries, not necessarily rich to be successful. Just, live well.
