Know Ricinus Communis || My Treetuesday

বন্ধুরা, আশা করছি সবাই ভালো আছো, এই মুহুর্তে আমাদের অঞ্চলে শীতের প্রকোপ কিছু বেশী, যার কারনে করোনা ভাইরাস নিয়ে সকলের মাঝে ভীতির পরিমানও বাড়তে শুরু করেছে। তবে আমরা চেষ্টা করছি যার যার অবস্থান থেকে সতর্ক থাকার এবং সামাজিক দূরত্ব মেনে চলার। যদিও সাধারণ মানুষ এগুলোকে এখনো গুরুত্বারোপ করছে না!

Friends, I hope everyone is well, the incidence of winter in our region is a bit high at the moment, due to which the fear of corona virus has started to increase among everyone. But we are trying to be careful of one's position and adhere to social distance. Although ordinary people are not paying attention to these yet!

যাইহোক, যেহেতু আজ মঙ্গলবার, মানে ট্রিটুয়েসডে। তাই আমি চিন্তা করেছি আজ চমৎকার প্রাকৃতিক গুন সম্পন্ন একটি গাছের কথা আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করার। যদিও পূর্বে আমি এই কাজটি নিয়মিত করতাম। কিন্তু বর্তমানে সেই ধারাবাহিকতা ধরে রাখতে পারছি না, ব্যস্ততার কারনে। আসলে আমাদের চারপাশে প্রচুর প্রাকৃতিক গুনসম্পন্ন নানা রকম গাছ রয়েছে, কিন্তু নানা কারনে আজ আমরা এসকল প্রাকৃতিক উপাদান ব্যবহারে অনীহা প্রকাশ করছি, যা খুবই দুঃখজনক।

However, since today is Tuesday, I mean #Treetuesday. So today I thought of sharing with you a tree with excellent natural qualities. Although I used to do this regularly. But at the moment I can't maintain that continuity, because of the busyness. In fact, we are surrounded by a variety of trees with natural qualities, but for various reasons today we are reluctant to use all these natural ingredients, which is very sad.

তবে আমি শুরু থেকেই নানাভাবে প্রাকৃতিক উপদান ব্যবহার করার চেষ্টা করি, কারন আমাদের পরিবারের সবাই প্রাকৃতিক উপদান বেশী পছন্দ করেন। যার কারনে আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে এই বিষয়টি শিখেছি। আমি আমার দাদাকে দেখেছি কোন সমস্যা হলে প্রথমে প্রাকৃতিক উপাদান ব্যবহারে উৎসাহ দিতেন আর বলতেন কাজ না হলেও ভয় নেই, কারন এর কোন পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রি নেই। কিন্তু বর্তমান প্রজন্ম আধুনিক প্রযুক্তির উপর বেশী নির্ভরশীল, যার কারনে প্রাকৃতিক উপদানসমূহে তাদের ভরসা কম।

But I try to use natural ingredients in many ways from the beginning, because everyone in our family prefers natural ingredients. This is why I learned this from them. I saw my grandfather encourage me to use natural ingredients at first if there was any problem and said there is no fear even if it doesn't work, because it has no side effects. But the current generation is more dependent on modern technology, which makes them less reliant on natural ingredients.

আজ আমি যে গাছটি উপস্থাপন করছি, এটিকে আমাদের অঞ্চলে বলে ভেন্ন গাছ। আবার অনেক অঞ্চলে এটিকে ভেরেন্না গাছও বলে। তবে এর বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম হলো Ricinus communic. আমি ছোট বেলায় আমাদের অঞ্চলে প্রচুর দেখেছি এই গাছটি, প্রায় বাসার সম্মুখে অথবা পিছনের দিকে থাকতো। তবে বর্তমানে এই গাছটি সহজে খোজে পাওয়া যাবে না, কারন চারপাশের বনাঞ্চল খুব দ্রুততার সাথে আমরা ধ্বংস করে ফেলছি। তবে কিছু কিছু নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় এই গাছটি এখনো দেখা যায়, যার কারনে এখনো এটি টিকে আছে আমাদের প্রকৃতির মাঝে।

The tree that I am presenting today is called the Venna tree in our region. In many areas it is also called Verenna tree. However, its scientific name is Ricinus Communis. I saw a lot of this tree in our area when I was young, it used to live almost in front of or behind the house. However, at present this tree is not easily found, because we are destroying the surrounding forests very quickly. However, this tree is still seen in certain places, which is why it still survives in our nature.

সত্যি বলতে এই গাছ এবং এর ফলের প্রাকৃতিক গুনের কথা জানলে আপনি অবাক হয়ে যাবেন। কারন এটির চমৎকার সকল গুনের কারনে এক সময় এই গাছের ফলের তৈল সবাই রান্নার কাজে ব্যবহার করতেন। এই গাছের ফল এক সময় নানা রোগের ঔষধ হিসেবে বেশ জনপ্রিয় ছিলো, ভেজষ ঔষধ তৈরীতে এই ফলগুলো ব্যবহার করা হতো। কারন আমাদের অঞ্চলের মানুষ অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে ভেজষ ঔষধ বেশী ব্যবহার করতো। কিন্তু আধুনিক প্রযুক্তির উন্নতির কারনে মানুষ এখন কৃত্রিম ঔষধ বেশী ব্যবহার করেন।

In fact, you may be surprised to learn about the natural properties of this tree and its fruit. Because of all its wonderful qualities, at one time the fruit oil of this tree was used for cooking. The fruit of this tree was once very popular as a medicine for various diseases, these fruits were used in making herbal medicine. Because people in our region used to use more herbal medicine in most cases. But due to the advancement of modern technology, people now use more synthetic drugs.

এই গাছের উপকারীর কথা বলতে গেলে, ভেন্না তেল নানা সমস্যা সমাধানে ব্যবহার করা হলো এই অঞ্চলে। বিশেষ করে যাদের মাধা সর্বদা গরম থাকতো, তাদের মাথায় এই তৈল ব্যবহার করলে মাথা ঠাণ্ডা থাকতো। যাদের খাবারে অরুচি থাকতো, তাদের এই তৈল গরম ভাতের সাথে খাওয়ানো হতো। এছাড়া আগুনে পোড়া জাতীয় কোন দাগ থাকলে তা দূর করার জন্য এই তৈল ব্যবহার করা হতো। সত্যি বলতে এই তেলের নানা উপকারী গুন বিদ্যমান।

Speaking of the benefits of this tree, Venna oil has been used to solve various problems in this region. Especially those whose head is always hot, if they use this oil on their head, their head will stay cold. Those who disliked food were fed this oil with hot rice. In addition, the oil was used to remove any burn marks. In fact, there are many beneficial properties of this oil.

সবশেষে একটা কথাই বলতে চাই, এই কথা অস্বীকার করার কোন উপায় নেই যে, প্রকৃতির মাঝে রয়েছে সকল সমস্যার সমাধান এবং আমাদের জন্য সর্বোত্তম ঔষধ। আমরা যতবেশী প্রকৃতির উপর নির্ভর করবো, আমাদের সুস্থ্যতা ততোবেশী নিশ্চিত করতে পারবো।

After all, there is no denying that nature has the solution to all problems and the best medicine for us. The more we rely on nature, the more we can ensure our well-being.
