Hello everyone in the #naturalmedicine community. Hope you have a wonderful day.

I currently live and work in Da Nang, a big city in Vietnam. But my heart always goes to the place where I was born and raised, which is Dak Lak province, a mountainous province in the vast highlands of Vietnam. I and my wife always come back here every time we arrange a few days off.

Below are photos I took when we took a tour around our family garden. There we have a big garden where mainly we grow pepper, coffee and fruit trees. I and my wife love to carry the basket around the garden to collect fruits every time we come back visit our family.

Everyone here has a garden, so we almost don't sell the products in the garden but just share them with each other. Therefore, life here is very peaceful and easy, not rushed and competitive like in big cities. I and my wife planned to return to my hometown to live in 10-15 years when we save enough money to have our own real garden. At that time, we can go to the garden and harvest things every day.

Oh man those avocados are huuuge! Fresh tropical fruits is one of the things I miss the most when not living in the tropics... You have an amazing garden :)

Thank you @phortun. If you have a chance to visit my garden in summer, I can try many different fruits.

I adore the photo of your wife with the avocados! I was just listening on the radio to farmers in the north of Australia who are missing out on water from a dam, which means they can't grow avocados as they take a lot of water.

I love how you all grow food so you can share it with each other - that's what I'm trying to achieve in my own community.

All your photos are beautiful - so well composed and sharp. Thanks so much for sharing.

I remember getting pepper in curries in Vietnam and I wasn't sure what it was! Of course we don't get fresh pepper like that.

YOu must really love going home!

Thank you very much @riverflows. Yeah going home always makes me happy. Being with my family members and being with the garden are something special for people who live far from home like me.

it is amazing how we can live so peacefully around nature. It is a blessing to be able to grow all kinds of fruits and veggies, and I am also astonished by your beautiful pictures, you have great avocados!! and I saw some things I have not seen before like pepper! good luck with your plans! I hope they come true

Thank you very much. Hopefully we are still on hive community then, so I will share with everyone my own garden.

Gosh, the only one of these that grows where I live is the corn! The rest looks so good. I wish one day I had a basket full. Now I am happy with a handful. Nice post.

Oh really, come to my country and then I think you will find out many new things. Thank you.

Oh my goodness, if I had a garden with all those goodies I'd never want to leave either! Love the thought of just sharing with everyone else and not worrying about having to sell and make money. I don't think I've ever seen the dragon fruit plant before! Love all of this. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven. Hope you can achieve the goal of getting back in time and making your own space there, too.

Thank you very much. The life in my hometown is easy. Basically, people in my hometown can be self-sufficient. We have almost necessary things in the garden from vegetables, fruits, chicken, pigs, fish someone has cows, ducks, buffallo and some other cátle, someone has also has rice fields. But people don't make good money. That's why I chose to live in the city when I'm still young and go back my hometown in the future.

Wow, I loved this tour of your garden. Your wife is so cute! What a great goal to have a wonderful garden like this too. What a great community that shares with each other. The whole post was great, thanks!

Thank you very much Sara. I will tell my wife about this. You're welcome to my future garden.

Your town is very nice and the garden let me understand why you want to go back in the future ^^

Go to my hometown in summer, then you can try tons of fruits.

yes, I went to your hometown once and still want to come back in fruits season ;)

Great shots and man look at that avocado 😮

thank you very much. Well, in summer, we can collect tons of avocados like that. We cannot eat them up, we give them to our neighbours or sometimes we give them to the fish in the pond.
