For this reason, there is a need for further research on the benefits of the acalypha indica plant as a medicine for several diseases.
Here's a little explanation about the herbal plant acalypha indica. In English, the acalypha indica plant is also known as Indian Acalypha, Indian Mercury, Indian Copperleaf, Indian Nettle, Three-seeded Mercury. It is an annual herbaceous plant that has catkin-like inflorescences with cup-shaped involucres surrounding small flowers. It is primarily known for its attractive roots to domestic cats, and for its various medicinal uses. It happens all over the Tropics.1 According to the explanation above, these herbal plants only grow in the tropics. In addition, this plant is also often eaten by cats, because one of the benefits of the acalypha indica plant is to improve digestion.
The acalypha indica plant is believed to have several benefits for treating several diseases. In Indonesia, the acalypha indica plant is used as a herbal medicine for generations by the community, namely as a medicine for dysentery, diarrhea, digestive disorders, and the leaves are used to relieve nosebleeds. However, to avoid the dangers of using it as herbal medicine, you should first consult with herbalists and doctors.
