I love it! At least I enjoy your posts about your papaya plants, I wish I had a space to put some where I live. By the way, I am curious how long does it take for the papaya plant to bear fruit?

Hi thanks so much for enjoying! Well, the time to fruit harvest depends on the amount of sun (the more the better) and the quality of the soil (easy draining). So the quickest may be around 6 months until ripe fruits. The unripe ones come earlier. These took around 18 months because of not optimum sun exposure and the soil isn't the best although I add compost and coffee/tea grounds. I had actually given up on having ripe fruits and let my neighbors pick a lot of the green ones until I saw the green fruits starting to turn yellow... Since then the harvest has been pretty regular and so tasty! They really don't take much space at all as they basically just grow straight up :)
