Nut Butter!

It took literally all day, unshelling the walnuts that I picked, refining my mastery of cracking to maintain chunks of nuts easy to loosen from the shell...

Then a few minutes of whirring and stirring, a drop of freshly ground salt and a dash of lovely organic sesame oil - and boom: two jars of lovely spreadable, highest quality, natural and super-local walnut butter!

I'm dreaming of the toast in the mornings, the pwsto combinations and pasta sauces.... It feels like a potent accomplishment, and profoundly impresses on me how utterly precious our freedom is - to make our own food at a natural pace, to enjoy the intense satisfaction of high nutriment from nearby trees/ plants.

Life Is Beautiful!

Blessings on your day,

Yes! And it was a blessed job, shelling the walnuts: beautiful meditation, always, doing laborious jobs like this :-D Blessings, @victorealiendres - and thank you sincerely for commenting!

This is so beautiful. My mouth is watering at the thought of the taste!

It was divine - my first taste, even though it was on cheap white flatbread: utterly scrumptious with butter, nut butter and apricot jam :-D :-D :-D

That's a big job. Savor the end product!

Awww, thanks so so much, @bobandbrad ! Yes indeed: I've just eaten THE MOST delizioso local bread, butter, nut butter, rocket and cherry tomatoes open sandwich - it was incredible... Worth every effort! :-D
