I clicked these pictures from my home garden. Tulsi plant is known for its purity. Tulsi plant is worshiped in Hinduism. It is seen as happiness and well-being, but apart from mythological importance, Tulsi is also a well-known medicine, which is used in many diseases. Tulsi is an effective medicine in many big and terrible diseases ranging from cold and cough.Tulsi plant is considered sacred in Hinduism and people plant it on the patio or door of their house or in the garden Tulsi is also used in one form or the other in Allopathy, Homeopathy and Unani medicines. Holy Basil a plant that is gentle and healing to body, mind and spirit should bring happiness Tulsi Mala has 108 seed Wearing Tulsi garland gives peace to the heart.
The leaves may be eaten fresh, used in cooking, or best yet picked, dried, and made into tea.
