Living in a (beautiful) Jungle

I feel super tired today, didn't get enough sleep the last days. But it's my own fault, life is just too exciting at the moment ^^
And there's so much to do!

I do try to keep a healthy balance though.
I started to go into the garden first thing in the morning, instead of checking internet stuff right away. It makes a huge difference for me, when I connect with nature before connecting with the rest of the world.

I also started to write To-Do-lists, so I can stop thinking about the things I wanna do, but instead have them all written down. They are not really well organized actually ^^ More a A5 page of scribbled notes, but it still helps and I'm getting better in prioritizing things.

And I try to listen to my body. When I need a break, I take a break. When I don't feel like writing, I postpone the article to the next day.
I'm lucky that don't have anyone pushing me to do anything (except myself sometimes ^^) and that I'm able to do things in my own pace.

I am most excited about the new blog project I started here on Hive for the art collective that I'm part of!
(I wrote about it in my last post, if you're interested. The @nfthypesquad blogging to raise a fund for artists who want to start on @nftshowroom )

I want to this to be really good, so I'm putting a lot of effort in this right now.
It's not only writing (I'm getting a bit of help with that soon), but also promoting it. We're getting a lot of support by the Community on Hive already (huuuge thank you to the @ocd team and @juliakponsford!!) but I still have to make it a bit more popular in the Squad itself.
Most artists haven't even heard about Hive or NFTShowroom still, so I spend quite a bit of time telling people about it.
I'm not an expert in twitter promotion, but I'm trying my best there, too ^^

Then there's my art of course and my life in the crazy nft-world and everything that comes with it.
I have two collaboration projects going on and working on a piece for my own collection on OpenSea.
Painting is relaxing for me, so it's actually the easiest part of my life really ^^
I usually paint in the late afternoon and evening and that's what causes that I stay awake for way too long sometimes ^^

And then there's the garden, that gave this post its title ^^

It's still quite wild and parts of it will probably stay this way, for we just don't have enough time to care for the whole (big!) property.
But we do our best to work in the garden a bit every day, weeding, scything, planting, watering, scything, cutting, scything, scything (yes, we don't have a lawnmower ^^) and step by step it starts looking nice and a bit less jungle-like :)

Yeah, so life is busy and beautiful right now!
Summer has already arrived here in Bulgaria so it seems and I'm enjoying the sun and warmth a lot :)

I do miss being here on Hive more often, writing, reading and commenting! But I'm sure I'll have more room for that again when I got more used to this new chapter in my life.

It looks as if we're gonna stay here in the valley for a while longer, the owner of the property is still working abroad.
I know I've said this a hundred times already, but I couldn't be more grateful for having this beautiful oasis right now, far away from everything with just nature around us.

We don't have to pay rent for it and Bulgaria is cheaper than other countries, so the money that I earn from my art is enough to keep us going for now, which is amazing!

We'll be enjoying this place as long as we can, working on our projects. Life is good and exciting, I wouldn't want to have it any other way!
And I'm excited to see what else Universe has planned for us in the future :)

Beautiful flowers. Thank you for sharing the images of them. I hope you can get some rest. I'm scheduled to get full nights of sleep in about 2 years once my sons get a little older, lol.

On the topic of growth, did you grow these flowers or was it images you took during a hike? Have an awesome weekend.

EXACTLY it makes a whole difference to use the morning freshness and merge with nature :)
