Greetings beautiful Hive family!. I am @success978655 and I’m truly excited once again to share something deeply personal and meaningful with you for the Hive Music Festival Week 165 Round 3. This week, I’m presenting my original song titled “IMELA,” which simply means Thank You.
This song flows from a place of reflection—looking back at everything I have passed through, the moments of struggle, the seasons of uncertainty, and the miracles that came quietly, yet powerfully. It is my sincere way of saying thank You to the One who has carried me from where I used to be to where I am today.
In the first verse, I return to Abba Father like a grateful son, acknowledging His love and His mighty hand upon my life. I remember how He lifted me, how He multiplied the little I had—just like the miracle of the two fishes and five loaves—and turned it into something much greater. Many times, I have found myself overwhelmed by His goodness, and it makes me ask, “Kedu ihe m ga-enye gị chimo?” What can I possibly give to You, my God? His love has remained strong, constant, and unshakable, and that alone is enough reason to praise Him endlessly.
The chorus is a simple yet powerful expression: Imela, Imela… N’dalu. It is a melody of thanksgiving that rises from a heart overflowing with gratitude. Sometimes, the most sincere worship comes from just saying, “Thank You.”
The second verse reflects on my humble beginnings—days when even food was a struggle, when I hustled with no results, and when friends left because I had nothing to show. But God stepped in, changed the narrative, blessed me beyond what I imagined, and filled my life with testimonies that still leave me speechless. Truly, His love is indescribable.
No matter where you are in life, keep holding on. Your own IMELA moment will surely come.
