I might be wrong, but earning about 1.56 % per year for the Ethereum in your wallet is too small. Who knows if Ethereum will crash or fork (again).

It will depend on multiple factors such as what will the competition offer, what is the price volatility, for how long they have to stake etc.

Maybe it'll be good enough. I mean they could just do variable rates to let the market figure things out.
