Hundred Year Old Country House in The region of Himachal Pradesh

Old Country House The beautiful journey to the country side where we headed in the day was a bit like feeling of nostalgia.

As i went after very long time to the place where i spent alot of time in my childhood with my cousins. The journey took around 2hrs from the town where i live.

The most Nostalgic feeling came from seeing the old houses that i once seen as i remembered how it was back then in the younger days as evryone used to live in this beautiful wooden houses made of mud, natural stone slate, and wood. By local builder with huge logs of woods.

The house you see is the house where once i used to stay when we visited our grandparents. As they lived here in that time before moving to new place. The house is still beautiful and the smells are so good of the wood that bring back all the memories of the past times.

The wood used in these houses are bought from local forests as in past there is not much goverment interference in these areas. As now strict laws are there on cutting forests. The beautiful old door were small and so beautifully made.

The house made of this beautiful wood and stones. The houses are built to last long times and every weather in harsh conditions too. The significant of these houses are they are realistically small and there are sitting balcony and two floors where families live. The house provided natural warmth in the vold winters as well as good air conditioning in the summers. While the roof of stone plates makes it more good for every weather.

The small staircase and stoned flooring in front of the house the view of house is beautiful. As you can see my cousin sitting outside the first floor where we used to spend time. In front of the house the design of wooden panels. As these houses are build of all the materials provided near the region. As people don't have anything to travel with in the old times.
