While coming home earlier, we happened upon this rare creature. It sure has a lot of very interesting and peculiar coloration, and I've never seen one quite like this. The black face really makes the red eyes pop, and that shell pattern is hard to beat. What do you think? Enjoy the pics!

Wow suprisingly not shy at all. I found a similar looking one in Missouri and it stayed sealed shut as long as it knew we were around.
