These are some leftover shots from my second time covering this annual parade of cosplayers that kicks off the Calgary Comic Expo. 10 years ago, back in 2015, I had little experience photographing a parade like this, so I feel that year I was able to get a larger amount of quality images. I also noticed that people liked to pose, so I could try and get more out of the event by trying to have some interactions and see if I can catch the eye of some interesting characters as they walk by. I think this particular parade was very formative for me, and in the years that have passed, it has helped me get the most out of it no matter what was happening.
