I didn't photograph the Kremlin Garden in Vologda very often in winter, and these were completely winter shots. This time I wanted to capture the pre-winter state, where the ice on the pond has not yet fully formed.

Once there was an interesting ice condition where there were standing circles on the snowy surface...but I didn't capture it.

I tried to capture this state again, but there were very few laps.

When the pond is covered with ice and snow, graphic shadows are drawn on the flat white surface.

The winter condition of the Kremlin Garden is not as picturesque as in the deciduous period.

And with open water, the shots are also more interesting.

But still, I will observe different variations of natural phenomena in the garden this winter.

When the ice gets stronger, people will start walking on it.

Once upon a time, children used to ride down the slides in frosty winters.

But now the earthen rampart is fenced off and it has become difficult to roll off it.

The main thing is that no bright LED lights are installed here after landscaping. Otherwise, the whole atmosphere of the garden will be killed.
