For more than a month, the weather has been clear all summer...that is, when it's sunny in the afternoon. And these are excellent conditions for a spotted street. But this summer I paid very little attention to this genre, this wave.
For several years now, I have been calling the year by one specific word that characterizes it.
2021 is the year of yard spaces, 2022 is the year of street photography, 2023 is the year of dugouts.
I can't describe this year in one word yet.

Over the years, I have always shot in a wide variety of genres, but always some direction was superior.
Which genre was a priority in 2024, I'm not ready to say yet, but it's definitely not a spotted street.
And this conclusion is not because I am not on the wave of this street right now, but because even when I connect to it, I do not consider it a priority.
The reportage wave had a big impact this year...and the dugouts continue to steal attention.
And which of them will win – for this we must wait for the end of the year.
