December in Vologda-3

How much I love photography for its documentality and for the opportunity to immerse myself in the time that is in the picture! Every year in November and December there is almost snowless, frosty and sunny weather. They seem to be similar states, but they are always so different.

The sun on this evening (that is, the day..because December) peeked out almost before setting over the horizon.

I love this kind of sun and at the same time not very much.

At such moments, you would to be in the right place, otherwise there is no sense from such low light.

And you need to be in an open place where such light gets in.

If the sun came out when you are in a densely built-up city center, then it will be very difficult to catch the light.

I was lucky, I was by the river!

But I was already at the end of my walking enthusiasm, so I didn't chase the last rays, but just walked and caught what I saw.

Anyway, the sun will set in about ten minutes, what's the point of running to a better place? I'm already in it!

...Sometimes there are not enough sunny frosty days, especially in December.

January will already be much brighter, as the sun has overcome its lowest point (judging by the sky).

The days will only get brighter now...slowly, imperceptibly, but still lighter.
