I've accepted quite a lot around me (in photographic terms) and even come to love it. I can already take pictures in cloudy weather in winter, but only during the day. If you take the night, then for now it's maximum boredom for me.

If you follow all my complaints about the weather in my blog over the years, there will be a big difference in attitude towards different conditions.

For example, about six years ago, I loved cloudy weather in winter because I was passionate about minimalistic subjects. But that's all during the day.

I was capturing dilapidated houses at night, and I didn't like the cloudy winter sky.

I used to dislike summer because of the scarcity of flowers, that is, the ubiquitous greenery. I love it now.

I once complained about November, which is gray, dark and without leaves....Now I love it.

If all this is reduced to a common denominator, to reduce everything that has become pleasant over time, then cloudy weather in winter snow time will remain today.

I didn't like this condition from the very beginning of my photographic journey.

All the subjects, whether they are dugouts, a night city, or even street photography, will look a hundred times better when the sky is clear.

And if we talk about the day, then the clouds are different.

Sometimes the gray sky merges into one tone with the snow cover.

Sometimes the sky is gray, but lighter than the ground.

But the best condition is when dark and heavy clouds hang, as before a storm, then the most interesting and contrasting subjects are obtained.

At no time of the year do I complain so much about the weather as in winter.

Well, what other variety can there be besides snowfall, frost with frost, blizzard, icy rain, clear frosty sun with gal, moon with gal, northern lights or starry sky?

It turns out that there are a lot of interesting things in winter, but only in our latitudes it happens very rarely.

If you think about it, there will probably be fewer natural phenomena in summer than in winter.

And what's there: thunderstorm, rain, sun...Well, the moon is in all phases....even the stars are not visible and the northern lights are not visible because of the bright nights.
