I popped the pooch up to Ashover Rock this morning. It's usually windy up there so it's best to get wrapped up. It can be quite bleak looking, as well. As it's winter, all the bracken has died off so everything is brown and the heather is dormant.
There is some graffiti on the side of the rocks. I don't understand the mentality of people defacing something like this in the countryside.
Buddy obviously spotted or smelt something at this point down below. I couldn't see anything, though, but he was mesmerised with whatever was down there.
Still looking ...
I finally got the pooch away from what he was looking at and we cracked on with our walk.
We did a short circular walk, that went past the Rock. Even though there were a few cars parked up, we only met a couple of women out with their snappy dogs.
