In this post I share with you the restoration of a photograph that was taken around the 60s. The person who appears in the photo is my grandmother who has already passed away, so I decided to carry out this work as a tribute to her, sharing it with the family and on this day with you.
The challenge that the image presented me was not so much to repair the damage it had, but rather to give it color, and to be able to revive the portrait again without the tones being seen as something merely manipulated by the computer or looking fictitious. In my opinion, I think that I managed to give it a slightly more current environment. As for the deterioration, I had no problem.
